Roundtable lunches are small-group sessions led by experts and thought leaders, held at roundtables of 8 to 10 participants. They are freeform and an opportunity to connect with others who have similar interests, successes, or challenges.
We recommend preparing a brief one-minute overview of your topic and being prepared with a few questions for the participants at your table to get the conversation going.
Time and Date: Tuesday, October 28 and Wednesday, October 29 from 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm
Lunch lines may get long, so we recommend arriving early so you can get your lunch quickly and greet attendees as they join your table.
Location: Lobby area on the street level of the convention center
Number of attendees: 8-10 attendees, joining on a first-come, first-serve basis
Topic: To be determined by host, in collaboration with the Trellis team
Each round table is based around a central question that should be open-ended - something people can actively engage with for an hour-long discussion.
Please be mindful of the topic you choose with an eye toward dynamic conversations. This is not an opportunity to present, pitch or lecture. The host is a facilitator of conversation and should work to make the time interactive.
Open ended with plenty of directions people can take the conversation
Topics focusing on pain points and opportunities
Trending topics people want to know more about
Examples:
✅ What are your carbon credit pinch points?
✅ What makes a very good dog?
Topics that are too narrow and too promotional of a single solution
Topics that are designed to talk about a single service or product
Presentations that are pretending to be conversations
Examples:
❌ How to use our platform to purchase carbon credits
❌ Why my dog, Rex, is the best dog
